SMART-CSA
The SMART-CSA project will strengthen urban and peri-urban farming resilience by integrating Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA), permaculture, and smart technologies into vocational education and training (VET), enhancing sustainability, digital skills, and food security across Europe. It will combine policy analysis, stakeholder mapping, and site visits with practical outputs, including a 40–50 page research report, CSA business model insights, and a Digital Training Lab featuring 10 microlearning modules and 20 videos on a mobile EQF 5+ platform. The project will deliver 18 workshops, six field visits, and integration into 12 VET institutions, alongside 12 webinars, five national events, and a final Paris conference. To drive impact, six national policy briefs and an EU replication model will support the mainstreaming of CSA and digital innovation into European agricultural training and policy.
